Terms of Service

The terms that govern access to OpsBlu data, credits, API keys and the website.

Effective 2026-10-22. OpsBlu is the brand of OpsBlu LLC (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms govern your use of opsblu.com, the OpsBlu API, the MCP server and any data obtained through them (the “Services”). By creating an account, buying credits, using an API key or otherwise accessing the Services, you agree to these Terms and to our Acceptable Use Policy and Privacy Policy.

1. Eligibility and accounts

  • You must be at least 18 and using the Services for business purposes.
  • You are responsible for everything done with your account and API keys, including by automated agents you connect. Keep keys secret; revoke them if exposed.
  • Free credits require a business email domain. One signup grant per domain.

2. The data

  • Records describe businesses, compiled from public sources as described on /methodology. They are provided for business-to-business outreach, research and product development.
  • Data is provided “as is”. We work to keep it fresh and accurate but do not warrant that any field is correct or current. Reported bad records (dead phone, bouncing inbox, closed business) are credited back; see section 4.
  • Aggregate statistics are free and may be quoted with attribution to OpsBlu.

3. License and restrictions

  • We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use records you have paid for within your organization and in systems you control (CRM, outreach tools, internal analysis).
  • You may not resell, sublicense, publish or redistribute raw records, build a competing dataset from them, or use them to train models that reproduce them.
  • You may not scrape the site, circumvent rate limits, suppression or small-count protections, or probe for records that have been removed.
  • When we notify you that a business has opted out, you must delete that record from your systems within 72 hours.

4. Credits, billing and refunds

  • Access is prepaid. 1 credit = $0.01. Opening or exporting a record costs 3 credits, or 10 credits for a “hot” record (new or changed in the last 30 days). A record is billed once per unique record per calendar month regardless of how many times you open or export it.
  • Minimum top-up is $20. Purchased credits do not expire. Free credits expire 30 days after they are granted.
  • You may set a monthly spend cap. We stop charging when it is reached; the cap is a feature, not a guarantee against misconfigured automation you control.
  • Purchased credits are non-refundable except as required by law. If a record you opened is materially wrong (disconnected phone, bouncing inbox, business closed before your purchase), report it within 30 days and we credit it back.
  • Prices may change with 30 days’ notice on the pricing page. Credits already purchased keep their value in dollars.

5. API, MCP and automated use

  • API keys are personal to your account. Agents acting with your key act as you.
  • Rate limits apply. Exceeding them returns a “slow down” response; repeated abuse may suspend the key.
  • We may change the API with reasonable notice; versioned endpoints under /v1 will be maintained for at least 6 months after a successor ships.

6. Acceptable use

Use of the Services is subject to the Acceptable Use Policy, which forms part of these Terms. In short: comply with CAN-SPAM, TCPA and equivalent laws, honor opt-outs, no discriminatory targeting, no redistribution.

7. Intellectual property

The compilation, software, documentation and brand are owned by OpsBlu LLC. These Terms do not transfer any ownership. Feedback you give us may be used without obligation.

8. Suspension and termination

  • We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy. Unused purchased credits are refunded on termination unless the breach was wilful.
  • You may close your account at any time from Settings; unused purchased credits are refunded on request within 30 days.

9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

  • The Services are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, including fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy of data.
  • To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential or lost-profit damages.
  • You are responsible for how you contact businesses using our data and for your compliance with applicable law.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes are announced by email to account holders and take effect 14 days after posting. Continued use after that date is acceptance.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, without regard to conflict of law principles. Disputes are resolved in the state or federal courts located in Oregon.

12. Legal entity
