Why platform ROAS lies
Google, Meta, and TikTok each report their own ROAS. The problem: they all claim credit for the same conversions. A buyer who saw a Meta ad, clicked a Google ad, then bought. That revenue shows up in both platforms. Sum platform ROAS and you'll overcount by 30-50%.
Use blended ROAS (total store revenue ÷ total ad spend) for the real picture. Use platform ROAS only for per-channel optimization.
