Meta Pixel Event Tracking for CS-Cart

Implement Meta Pixel conversion events on CS-Cart to track purchases, add to cart, and other ecommerce actions for Facebook and Instagram advertising

This guide covers implementing Meta Pixel standard events and custom conversions on your CS-Cart store to track customer actions and optimize your Facebook and Instagram advertising campaigns.

Meta Pixel Events Overview

Meta Pixel supports two types of events:

Standard Events

Pre-defined events that Meta recognizes for conversion optimization:

  • Purchase - Completed transactions
  • AddToCart - Items added to shopping cart
  • InitiateCheckout - Checkout process started
  • ViewContent - Product detail page views

Track cart additions. Best implemented via JavaScript to capture AJAX add to cart.
