Snapchat Ads User Management

How to control access, roles, and permissions for Snapchat Ads Manager and Business accounts.

User Management Overview

Manage who has access to your Snapchat Ads accounts, what they can do, and how to maintain proper access controls. This guide covers the Snapchat Ads Manager permission model and best practices for enterprise teams.

Access Architecture

Snapchat Business vs. Ads Manager

Snapchat has two levels of access management:

Level Purpose Best For
Business Manager Manage multiple ad accounts, assets, and team members centrally Agencies, enterprises with multiple accounts
Ads Manager (Direct) Manage a single ad account Small teams, single-account advertisers

Recommendation: Use Business Manager if you manage more than one ad account or need to share assets (pixels, catalogs) across accounts.
