Adding and Removing Zyro Users

How to add and remove team members in Zyro. Covers invitation workflows, role assignment, access revocation, and user lifecycle management for analytics.

Guide to managing website access in Zyro, including adding collaborators and controlling who can edit your sites.

Prerequisites

To manage collaborators, you must have:

  • Zyro paid plan (Unleash, eCommerce, or eCommerce Plus)
  • Website ownership
  • Admin access to the Zyro account

Plan Limits:

  • Free: No collaborators (owner only)
  • Unleash: Limited collaboration features
  • eCommerce: Team collaboration available
  • eCommerce Plus: Full team management

Understanding Zyro User Management

Zyro handles user management at the account level, not per website. Users you invite have access based on their role and the permissions you grant them.

Access Types

Owner:

  • Full access to all websites
  • Billing and subscription management
  • User management
  • Cannot be transferred

Admin (if available on your plan):

  • Full access to websites
  • Cannot manage billing
  • Can manage other users (limited)

Editor (if available on your plan):

  • Edit website content
  • Cannot publish changes (depending on settings)
  • Cannot manage users
  • Cannot access billing

Adding Collaborators to Zyro

Best for: Giving specific access to team members

Step 1: Access Team Settings

Zyro Dashboard → Account Settings → Team / Users

Note: Zyro rebranded as Hostinger Website Builder in 2024. If your interface looks different, check under the Hostinger dashboard's website management section.

Step 2: Invite User

  1. Click Invite Team Member or Add User
  2. Enter collaborator's email address
  3. Select role/permissions:
    • Admin (full access except billing)
    • Editor (content editing only)
    • Custom (if available)
  4. Click Send Invitation

Note: Collaborator must have or create a Zyro account.

Step 3: Collaborator Accepts

  1. Collaborator receives email invitation
  2. Clicks Accept Invitation
  3. Signs in or creates Zyro account
  4. Gains access to shared websites

Last resort: Share login credentials

Drawbacks:

  • Security risk
  • No activity tracking
  • No granular permissions
  • Violates Terms of Service

Only use if your plan doesn't support team features.

Zyro-Specific Considerations

Account vs Website Access

Important: Zyro manages access at the account level.

  • Users invited to account may see all websites
  • Check if you can restrict per-website access
  • May need separate accounts for different clients

Plan Limitations

Free Plan:

  • No team collaboration
  • Owner access only
  • Must upgrade for multi-user

Paid Plans:

  • Check your specific plan limits
  • Number of team members may be limited
  • Feature availability varies by plan

AI Website Builder Access

Team members with editor access can:

  • Use AI website builder tools
  • Regenerate content with AI
  • Modify AI-generated designs

Note: AI changes are immediate - ensure proper training.

Best Practices

  • ✓ Communicate expectations
  • ✓ Review access regularly

Removing:
